Membership Month is off to a fantastic start! As of today, 94 people have renewed their annual membership or joined the Friends for the first time. Reminder, from now through April 30, everyone who joins the Friends or renews their membership will be entered to win one of four gift baskets filled with library- and Friends-themed items, as well as specialty items representing Central Rappahannock Regional Library's service area (Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Westmoreland). There will be one random drawing for each membership level - Household ($15), Tobin ($25), Rappahannock ($50), and Cote ($100) - on Monday, May 4. Winners will be contacted and announced in May’s Friends News.
Friday, April 10, is opening night of our Membership Month Book Sale at the Friends Center and Bookshop. The Friends-only preview sale will start at 5:00. This year, we’re combining the opening night of the sale with our Annual Meeting. The brief meeting will be held immediately before the sale opens–we will provide an overview of our 2025 fiscal year and certify Board members for 2026. Members will then be able to shop for never-before-seen items. Anyone who wants to shop the sale, can join in advance or at the door, so bring a friend who isn’t a Friend.

Items are printed on demand at no cost to the Friends or the Library and will ship directly to the address of your choosing. Proceeds from all sales will go to support our library.
