Dear Friends,

Each year, the Friends of the Library provides the cash prizes as well as a reception for Central Rappahannock Regional Library's Uniquely Art Show. It is because of your generosity that we are able to support the library and area artists in this way.

Online entries for the Uniquely Spotsylvania Art Show will be accepted February 7 - 23, and the exhibit will begin March 4. See the details below for submitting art work for the exhibit (Friends members are eligible to enter) as well as the dates of the exhibit and reception.

Uniquely Spotsylvania Art Show

Submissions accepted online: February 7-23

Entry form will be available beginning February 7.

Artists ages 18 and up are invited to apply. Seeking artistic works that illustrate the unique Spotsylvania experience -- in places, people, and history. Viewers should be able to recognize depicted scenes as specific to Spotsylvania.

Categories:

Natural Media (Painting, Drawing/Printmaking, Mixed)

Digital/Photography (Photography, Computer Generated)

Exhibition: March 4 - April 30 at Salem Church Branch

Reception: March 13, 6:30-7:30

Prizes generously donated by the Friends of the Library: 

Best in Show: $500

Prizes are awarded in each category:

  • First Place: $250
  • Second Place: $125
  • Third Place: $75
  • Honorable Mention: $50
