Next week is National Friends of the Library Week, and we are so excited to celebrate with our Fall Book Sale, October 21-26, at the Friends of the Library Center & Bookshop. If you haven’t already started your holiday shopping, this sale is the perfect time to begin. We will have great prices on a fantastic selection of books, as well as a large collection of donated tools available, including clamps, levels, a variety of saws, adjustable sawhorses, and much, much more. Plan to get to the sale early because these tools will sell quickly!

As part of the celebration, we’ll also be raffling off a gift basket. The basket is valued at more than $175.00 and is full of fall coziness. You can purchase raffle tickets in the Bookshop beginning Monday, October 21, and throughout the sale. The winner will be announced on Monday, October 28.

Finally, no celebration would be complete without a sweet treat! Stop by the sale on Wednesday, October 23, for a slice of cake provided by the library in appreciation of all of you.

Our Fantastic Fall Book Sale at the Friends Center & Bookshop is right around the corner and will coincide with National Friends of the Library Week. We'll have cake to celebrate (courtesy of the library) on Wednesday, October 23; plus, you'll have an extra day to shop because this sale runs through Saturday, October 26. Don't forget to bring a friend who is not a Friend--they can sign up for a new membership on the spot!
