I hope you have been enjoying your summer! If you haven’t had a chance to attend a Music on the Steps concert yet, there are still four more to catch at the Fredericksburg branch. The music begins at 6:30 on Mondays but get there early to snag your seat and then head inside to check out the Uniquely Fredericksburg Art Show featuring art highlighting the Fredericksburg experience. The artwork is not to be missed! The Friends of the Library are proud to provide cash prizes for the show.

2023 VIA COLORI

Speaking of art, the Friends are sponsoring a square at this year’s Via Colori® Stafford! This annual street festival is a two-day, family-friendly event and will be held at the Stafford Regional Airport from 10:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29. We are looking for volunteers to join library staff and help make our square come alive! Since we will be teaming up with the library, we are looking for two Friends for Saturday and another two for Sunday. Not an artist? Don’t worry – a design and plenty of chalk will be provided. See details below.
