Happy Summer everyone! I hope you have been able to attend some of the Music on the Steps concerts. The concerts so far have been amazing and they continue Monday nights for the rest of the summer.
This month we will start selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautiful quilt created by the Fredericksburg Modern Quilt Guild. The quilt will be on display at Fredericksburg Branch on Monday nights during the concerts and will make an appearance at the Super Summer Sale in July. The drawing will be held September 1. All ticket proceeds benefit the library. Thanks to the Guild for donating this amazingly beautiful work of art.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the Super Summer Sale at the Friends Center & Bookshop this month. We have received some very interesting donations recently and we are saving the best for the Friday Preview Night (for Friends only, you can join or renew at the door.)
